Overview

Adventure through Japan is an 11-day group trip through three of Japan's most iconic destinations — Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto — running July 10–21, 2026. This trip blends free exploration with optional guided experiences, giving travelers the flexibility to design their own Japanese adventure while traveling together as a group.


In Osaka, explore the neon-lit streets of Dotonbori, shop in Shinsaibashi, visit Osaka Castle, or spend a day at Universal Studios Japan. An optional Kyoto day trip reveals ancient temples, bamboo forests, and traditional tea houses. In Tokyo, discover Harajuku, Shibuya's famous scramble crossing, historic Asakusa, and the option to visit Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea independently. Roundtrip international airfare, 4-star hotel accommodations, daily breakfast, bullet train transfer between cities, and airport transportation are included.


An optional Activity Package upgrades the experience with 72-hour train passes for both cities, a Kyoto Big Bus sightseeing pass, and the unmissable Monkey Kart Go-Kart Excursion through Tokyo's streets.

Trip Details

Location: Tokyo & Osaka, Japan — with an optional day trip to Kyoto. Bullet train travel between cities included.


Duration: 11 days / 10 nights (July 10–21, 2026) — 4 nights in Osaka, 4 nights in Tokyo, plus travel days.


Activity Type: Free-roaming city exploration with optional guided activities and transportation passes. The pace is self-directed — travelers choose their own adventures each day. Activity level is light to moderate with significant walking.


Accommodation: 4 nights in a 4-star hotel in Osaka and 4 nights in a 4-star hotel in Tokyo. Package options include:


  • Simply Japan Duo (shared room, flight + hotel only) – $4,000/person
  • Epic Japan Duo (shared room, flight + hotel + activity package) – $4,800/person
  • Simply Japan Solo (private room, flight + hotel only) – $5,500
  • Epic Japan Solo (private room, flight + hotel + activity package) – $6,200

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to book.

Itinerary

Travel Day — Arrival (July 10)

Board your international flight and settle in for the journey. Upon landing in Japan, the group transfers directly to the Osaka hotel via bullet train.


July 11–15 — Osaka

Four days to explore Osaka at your own pace. Highlights include Dotonbori's neon streets and street food, Shinsaibashi shopping, and Osaka Castle. Optional day at Universal Studios Japan (Super Nintendo World) at own expense. Activity Package guests receive a 72-hour Osaka train pass and a Kyoto Big Bus Pass for an optional day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove.


July 15–20 — Tokyo

Five days in Japan's electric capital. Free time to explore Harajuku, Shibuya Crossing, Asakusa, and beyond. Optional Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea visit at own expense. Activity Package guests receive a 72-hour Tokyo train pass and the Monkey Kart Go-Kart Excursion — dressing up and zipping through Tokyo's streets in real-life go-karts.


Travel Day — Departure (July 21)

Final photos, last-minute souvenirs, and one last meal before heading to the airport for the journey home.

This trip was one for the books! We had a ball even though I missed a day due to no fault of our travel agent. The breakfast and lunch on the resort was great but dinner not so much. It was lit from sun up to sun up!!
